The Center for Media Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin, with support from Independence Public Media Foundation and The Lenfest Institute, published “The News Philadelphians Use: Analyzing the Local Media Landscape.” The new report provides an up-to-date portrait of Philadelphia's news and information landscape based on survey responses from more than 1,500 Philadelphians about their media habits and analysis of over 60,000 articles from 86 local news websites.

Philadelphians shared, through the survey, about issues that are important to them and assessed how local media are, or are not, covering these issues and their communities. Click here to read more about the key research takeaways.
