Nadine Patterson
Nadine M. Patterson is an award winning writer/producer/director and educator who works at the crossroads of narrative and documentary cinema. She earned her Master of Arts in Filmmaking at London Film School. She operates the production and consulting company, Harmony Image Productions (HipCinema), with her mother Marlene G. Patterson. Their films, including MOVING WITH THE DREAMING, ANNA RUSSELL JONES, RELEASE, TANGO MACBETH, WE ARE FREE BECAUSE OF HARRIET TUBMAN, have screened on public television and at film festivals around the world. They are currently developing a docu-drama mini series for public television called THE UNKNOWN TALES OF LEWIS & MARY LATIMER.
Nadine worked as Outreach Producer for Frances McElroy's documentary BLACK BALLERINA.
It has been broadcast on over 200 PBS stations from 2016 up to the present. She is a founding member of SIFTMedia 215 Collective and continues to advocate for parity for people of color, especially in the creative arts and in education.
