Sherella Williams

Sherella is a native Philadelphian and storyteller at heart who strives to fuel transformative change through creativity and cross-cultural connection. She is committed to racial equity and liberation work, strengthening community voice, and investing in community spaces. Sherella taught overseas in Austria before returning to Philadelphia to support quality after-school programming through PHMC’s Out-of-School Time project.

Most recently, Sherella worked as a senior development associate at Summer Search Philadelphia, a youth development organization, where she drove resources to the Summer Search mission through centering student voice and their stories.  Sherella holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and serves as the Board Chair of Gender Justice Philly.
