The Afro-American Historical Society of Delaware (AAHSD) is a chartered member of the National Organization of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc. AAHSD strives to ​educate and train members and the larger community on how to research, record, and present facts about African-American history and genealogy. They encourage all members to research, document, and publish their family history. The organization is the home of WHGE-LP–95.3 FM.
