Artina is a first generation Liberian American filmmaker who gravitates towards films that empower communities. She started her career working in Philadelphia as a freelance director of photography. Her heart is in documentary work where she has collaborated on projects from Academy Award qualifying documentary, Dear Philadelphia, to the Hulu documentary, Look At Me!
