Pardon Project

The "Pardon Project" film humanizes what a pardon and criminal record clearing can mean to people struggling to achieve their potentials but who remain imprisoned long after they have served their sentences; to encourage Black and Brown people to apply for pardons, because they are in fact accessible, for free, without a lawyer, and result in a pardon being awarded over 80% of the time; and to demonstrate that making pardons available generally (not just in extraordinary circumstances) benefits society as a whole economically and in other ways, and should be supported by everyone.
