Season 2 of the Resistance web series, now called R2, will pick up where the first season left off. It will follow the five revolutionaries-in-progress as they discover new information about the government's scheme to fast track redevelopment plans in their community and as they are connected to an underground organization that has been building a people's army for an inevitable battle against the excesses of the government. But as police agents close in on the members, will they be able to organize themselves, their individual resources and their community in time to halt the government's plans?

The 2020 Community Voices grant will support the production of a season two of the web series, Resistance: the battle of philadelphia, a six-part, short form, speculative fiction web series about a community's struggle against the surveillance and state violence of a powerful corporate government in a near-future Philadelphia.
